  • Brooch is accented with blue and white enamel. Enamel is in very good condition with light surface wear. 
  • Original C-hook style catch in good condition. 
  • Brooch made from gold plated base metal. 
  • Front of brooch reads " CONTESTANT U.S.G.A. OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP JUNE 6,7,8 1935". 
  • The 1935 U.S. Open was the 39th U.S. Open, held at Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, Pennsylvania. This Open had a field on 159 contestants and was won by Sam Parks Jr. 
  • Reverse of brooch marked "ROBBINS CO ATTLBORO". 
  • Brooch measures 1.5" x 1.125".  
  • Made in 1935.
