• Cameo made from handcarved shell featuring the goddess Artemis with a moon tiara and quiver of arrows. 
• Setting is accented with flowers and arched wire framework. 
• Brooch features original C-hook style catch. 
• Brooch measures 2.25" x 2", cameo measures 1.75" x 1.25". 
• Setting is unmarked but setting tests as 9ct gold. 
  
• Brooch weighs 10.5 grams. 
• Made during the early Victorian period: 1840 - 1880.
